With more than 12 years of experience in real estate investing, Heliostout ("Helio") Lee has invested in traditional long-term rentals & short-term rentals. In fact, he currently owns both types of investments today. Through his experience, Helio has personally endured the hardships & stresses of being a landlord. The late rents, the recurring costly repairs / damage from negligent tenants, the eviction process, etc. All of this was eating away at any potential cash flow, even with reserves in place.
As a result, Helio created Helio Home Solutions with the following two fold mission:
1) To automate & streamline the rental process for landlords / investors / property owners while maximizing their returns & creating passive income through the short term rental industry.
2) Create a destination for exceptional memories and an unforgettable travel experience for guests.
Helio Home Solutions has successfully partnered on many properties, from vacation rentals & single family homes to large, luxury apartment complexes.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Helio first pursued real estate in 2013 after being an avid proponent since 2007. He started his real estate investing journey in Harrisburg, PA, where he quickly acquired five long-term rental units (a combination of duplexes and single-family homes) in 2013. In 2014, Helio relocated to the Baltimore, MD area for a job, at which point he saved up to buy another single family home which would eventually become another long term rental. After 10 years of investing in traditional long term rentals, in 2023, Helio expanded and grew his portfolio and expertise in short term rentals and decided to purchase a vacation cabin in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. That same year, he also purchased another unit in Harrisburg. While his experience includes both long and short term rental investing, since 2023, Helio has been successfully focusing on expanding his short term rental business to create value for landlords and apartment building operators.
